Recently completing my degree I wanted to get out for a bit and travel. Spain was one of my favourites and I thought, why not? However, I soon realised my Spanish wasn't great so I read up about Enforex and gave it a go. It was really interesting and a relief meeting others in the same situation. Soon enough my Spanish improved and now I feel a lot more confident travelling to Spain.

I had always been interested in learning Spanish, as my family is originally from Mexico and all of the older generations seem to speak it most of the time. After saying I would learn it so many times, I eventually stumbled across an advertisement for Enforex and thought I'd check it out. It turned out to be great! I felt that I could really get to grips with what I was learning because you would have to use what you learnt in the surroundings around you all the time! The teachers were great... really friendly and made sure that I understood what I was learning. Turned out that a hobby soon benefited my professional life; my employers realised that I had improved my language skills and presented opportunities for me to be promoted and travel to meet clients. Couldn't ask for anything more than that!

Having spoken Portuguese I had an idea of what Spanish would be like, though I wanted to fully understand when in that environment. I found the classes relaxed and easy to follow. Classes were at a good time and allowed me to get out and do my own thing. It didn't feel like work at all!

My husband and I have both retired and realised we wanted to make the most of our trips abroad, so we took the first step to check out the language options and Enforex seemed to make the most sense. Once we picked up the information we were convinced that it was the right option and I'm glad to say that it was the right choice and a lovely experience. We were introduced to the language at a steady pace that didn't confuse us and allowed easy digestion. After a short time we were frequently using what we had learnt. We were really enjoying ourselves. We also met some lovely people and didn't feel intimidated with the usual stigma of education only being for the younger audience.

My experience of the language school at Enforex was great. I was a little bit nervous at first... I've got to say I think it was more the worry that I was gonna be thrown into a class that was too hard for me. This was no problem though, as they put me through a little multiple selection test beforehand and that put me at ease because at least they knew what level I was entering with. Once I got into the swing of things, I was able to speak to some of the locals who were around my age and get more out of my trip. After I'd checked everything the tourist book had to offer it was nice that I could manage on my own without solely having to reply on a guide to help me. I feel I made a great decision, as I've got the confidence in the language I'm encouraged to learn more. Fingers crossed I should be fluent in no time!

My time at Enforex certainly helped me. Over the years I have made several friends who are native speakers of the Spanish language. Since I culd not speak it, however, I was sometimes at a disadvantage. Now that I have gotten around to it things have been made so much easier. Learning a language can be difficult but Enforex seems to have integrated the learning in a fun way and luckily the teachers have been kind to me whenever I was a little slow to understand topics. I particularly enjoyed the fact I could venture out after class and practise within the local environment. One of my favourite stop off points is La Explanada, a relaxed place with great views- perfect for kicking back whilst reading over my notes.

I enjoy creative environments and I believe languages are very important for the development of one's character. With that being said, I jumped at the opportunity to go to Spain I can't say I've been a frequent visitor, though I am a keen knowledge seeker and it has been on my list. Enforex seemed to combine the convience and quality that I was looking for. I didn't want a quick fix method promising me fluency in 2 weeks because I knew being realistic was an important factor. The classes did not disappoint and I found myself meeting a range of people from different sides of the world and it was a delight to start my Spanish language there. I would certainly make a repeat trip as it has ignited the spark that is my Spanish learning.
